We loved the Church. Loved the freshly picked flowers on the table and the garden was also blooming and so lovely. The Church was cosy, with a fire place, good cooking facilities, good water supply ( hot and cold) and very comfortable beds. Also lots of reading material, and games. Close to everything we needed! Thankyou for having us stay at this beautiful place.

I got ready for my wedding at the church, the location was absolutely spectacular. Everything was perfect, they provided everything we needed for our stay from firewood to some local chocolate and tea. We cannot wait to visit again.

The photos do not even do justice of how beautiful the church is. The afternoon light floated through the stained glass windows and every moment felt like a movie. So many thoughtful touches, the most stunning garden, I felt completely at peace. Also I loved that you’ve kept the original confessional! I couldn’t recommend the church enough for a time to unwind, relax, discover nature and find yourself again ❤️

This was my third stay at this gorgeous church conversion. It was a first for my parents and sister, though, who absolutely LOVED it as much as me. It was the perfect post Mother's Day mother's day, plus a refresh and rejuvenate with all that fresh air, for my father who had heart surgery earlier this year. All in all the best place for peace and quiet, the perfect lunch or dinner spot around the corner at Radio Springs Hotel (never disappoints) and if you wanted to spend 24/7 indoors then everything is there for a truly wonderful stay.

This was our second stay at Theresa's lovely property and it won't be our last. I am already hunting around for a time and the next booking. The property is immaculate and exactly as you see in the pics ... and more. The atmosphere, the vibe ... mabo, you can't quite capture in a photograph but it has all that in droves. The serenity, the local birds and wildlife. Radio Spring Hotel around the corner and every room is picture-postcard send-home worthy! Thanks for a great weekend away

We have arrived home from this much anticipated weekend (thank you COVID and two forced postponements) which, now come and gone, went too quickly as all good times, do! The house (church conversion) is exactly as you see in the photos and then even better where you cannot see. The grounds are immaculate, the location serene and full of lovely bird-life - kookaburras visited every day, gorgeous. The welcome pack of incredible fresh herbs, bread, delicious local eggs, marmalade and teas, with a flower arrangement that would win awards, made it extra special. The additional bonus of games and books (resident Yahtzee champion, me!) warm throws, comfy nooks and so much to do in and out (Radio Springs Hotel around the corner for a cracking first night dinner). In short ... actually, this is rather long, we loved it! Thank you so much

We had an excellent short break with friends at the beautiful Church conversion. The space was great for two couples. Plenty of thoughtful touches and easily the best welcome hamper we’ve had in a while. We had a great lunch at Passing Clouds down the road on our host’s recommendation. A delightful stay in a glorious space, the Church was the perfect base for our girls weekend night the region. Absolutely gorgeous church set amongst beautiful luscious gardens. Incredibly cozy and comfortable with a fire, spa bath, comfy beds and a large and practical kitchen! Amazing stay- close to Trentham and Daylesford but more peaceful and scenic than both! Couldn't recommend the Church highly enough- we will be back.

Approaching The Church through the canopy of trees is absolutely magical. Crimson leaves scattered along the driveway, unbelievably huge and beautiful trees, a stunning building nestled in all of it. Opening the door to filtered light through stained glass windows, a welcome hamper of gorgeous produce, the colourful display of flowers! This is a beautiful property in a divine setting. Perfect to unwind and take in the environment of lovely Lyonville. Thank you!! We hope to return again sometime.

The Lyonville church is outstanding accommodation. Beautiful renovation, spectacular gardens and a local food hamper-delicious! Great place to stay if you are visiting the Radio springs hotel or would like a quiet spot to stay whilst visiting the area.

Church at Lyonville was just the weekend break we needed from busy lifestyles. The Church is beautifully appointed, super comfy and comes with everything needed to be self-contained. The beautiful fresh produce hamper was such a pleasant surprise and packed with so much delicious local fare. So much thoughthas gone into this unique beautiful accommodation, can't wait to come back but for a longer stay next time.

A magical place to enjoy a get-away with family and/or friends~ beautifully presented~ full of history and perfectly selected furniture, art pieces and household goods. We loved the outdoor BBQ and trees, box of magnificent local produce, closeness to Trentham~ walking trail~ and Daylesford~ car/bus-stop. A family mini-adventure to treasure forever~ truly DIVINE!

From the moment we walked into The Church we felt peace and relaxation descend upon us. It really is a beautiful place with everything you need. Secluded and quiet - I haven't slept so well in ages. The tray of goodies was appreciated. Furnishings, crockery, appliances etc are all top quality. A great base to stay in to explore the area or just stay and enjoy the heavenly serenity.
